Summary

The Site is located within the Orchard Road Conservation Area and the proposals replace an outdated group of office and storage buildings. The new dwellings provide six high-quality family homes and retain the existing residential flats and office building.

Because of the site's location within the Orchard Road Conservation Area, the design of the new dwellings needed to respond to the prevailing Victorian and Edwardian character of the area and to that end, the scheme was developed making use of red brick façades, recessed windows, and pitched roofs. HCUK Group were integral in the development of a final scheme that was received positively by officers.
